  Reviewing regarding Felix’s customer service. Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking and explained what had happened. Although there was a cancellation fee, he was very understanding of my situation and waived it for me. Very quick in getting back to me as well. Thank you for that Felix!

  We were really disappointed with our stay, one bedroom was missing a light bulb so no light, the smoke detector was taped to the roof, the shower had the hot and cold taps labelled back to front. The floor had dirt smeared across it in the living area but the rest of the apartment was clean enough. The beds were rock hard. No one slept much and we are all fairly easy going so not ones to complain. So disappointed.

  Why was it poor?? Where do I start.. the room was absolutely disgusting. Beyond disgusting. We came down for a wedding and there was no other accommodation. We had no choice but to stay here and to make it clear, I really really did not want to after walking into the room. We booked for 2 nights but I won't be staying for the second. Considering there was a 'no smoking' on the door the room smelt an awful lot like smoke. If I could have slept in my car I would have. The room was absolutely dirty: 1. The bed was absolutely disgusting and after I slept in it I felt itchy. 2. The so-called bathroom was not clean. There was mould and hair in the shower and on the vanity. 3. It is very very old and dilapidated. The furniture was foul. Towels and linen smelt and were dirty. There were mice running under the bed. What I believe to be drug residue and a straw with white powder was left on the couch. Nothing positive to say. Literally not one thing. Please don't stay here. How it made it on a booking website I will never know. I went out and got cleaning products and cleaned the room myself. When I went to complain to the staff, they didn't even apologise. So rude. Sorry for rambling but this place has absolutely rattled me. *Wipes tears away* eff your house franco

  Fifth time I have stayed and everything was great. The only thing I can say is the a few stairs, but who doesn't. They also have ground floor rooms, but I prefer rooms upstairs for a better view. Lovely getaway. Highly recommend.

  Do not stay here. Would have done zero stars if I could. Was asked to stay in our car for over twenty minutes in the 35 degree heat while they got the room ready ( it was 7pm). Room smelt so strongly of cigarettes and musty. The shower and bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Rubbish on the floor. Cobwebs were all through the room. We asked to get the cleaner back and when they came he couldn't speak English so didn't do what was asked. I wouldn't have let my dog stay in there let alone my family. Reception didn't want to listen just gave a refund and told us to leave. Was a terrible upsetting ordeal for my young daughters. Photos don't do it justice.

  I recently invited one of my clients from America to visit and suggested the Eltham Gateway as it was in close proximity of where we would work. After having good reviews I had no problem recommending this hotel. Unfortunately the reviews must be for some other hotel. My client stayed for 6 nights and during that time only had his room made up once. Did not have his rubbish collected or dishes replaced. The hotel is also undergoing a renovation and instead of construction materials placed nicely in a skip and covered up, was thrown on the ground taking up 3 car parks which would be normally occupied by patrons. The outdoor space is also taken up with boxes and items for the renovation and therefore could not be used to sit and relax. The management really need a wake up lesson about how to treat guests because this is unacceptable and an embarrassment for me having recommended this hotel. You should be offering everyone an apology and refunding half the room rack rate for the inconvenience.
